Genting

Snail Week

This week is moving real sloooooow.
It could be due to my deteriorating health condition (according to MK, I was on 1-week Medical Leave.Oh, I only heard about it from Junming last night).
Although it wasn't as bad as what was exaggerated, I do feel nausea and giddy at times. My body seems totally drained out of energy.
BUT, I will be/ am made well in Jesus' name!
Anyway,I didn't probe much about an old friend's affair somehow.
That's a good sign (and besties say "amen!").
Maybe that's why I fell sick.
If curosity kills the cat,indifference ills?!

2nd Day of MC

I slept and slept and slept and still want to sleep more.
Must be the medicine but, thank God for the rest thou!
I felt so much better now and all ready to get in actions again.
Yeah!!!

Sick

I vomitted again.
2nd time within a week.
Eyes are swelling.
I need a doc, quick!

Unusual Encounter

Stranger offered a car ride.
I got in the car.
Stranger offered me a sales job.
I kept silence but my thoughts were all over.
If a Sales Person does not make 6 to 10k a month, he is wasting his time- Stranger made sense and I agreed.

Call me flanky or what, these statements really spoke to me when I was watching the movies on TV in Genting.
Once again, I was reminded.
My purpose, My call;
My identity, My significence.
Be it Rambo or the Spartans, they never looked back-neither should we.
This is who we are, what we do. Our purpose.

Today's the day...

- Ah Boon fly me aeroplane
- I got my first pair of Crocs
- I am lunching the 2nd time this week
- Wheré 2 more sales roll in
- Cell Group Meeting is mind-blowing
- I am going Genting
- Iris is leaving
- 411 reminds me of something.

So Drama

Well, when a jar of raisins took over a hankie-thats drama.
It wasn't intentional, please, believe me.
The blink blink on his ear was so......seducive.
And I was so tired that I could only function one thing at a time.
So when my eyes were busy, my hands lost grip and the obvious happened.
Being a gentleman, he picked up the item for me and probably thought in his heart, "This girl is trying too hard. "Drop a hankie" stunt still works today?!"

B & M Sunday

We don't get drunk;
We don't gamble;
Neither do we curse and swear, and get heated up when we lost some of the rounds.
As long as we don't cross the line, we can still very much enjoy the drinks and the game.
Anyway, I really had fun tonight.

I remembered.. ...

How we queued up all the way to the carpark during Hollywood days;
How we enjoyed talking to one another while waiting to enter the hall;
How much we wanted to serve from washing the toliets to laying of chairs;
How we rushed from one end of Singapore to the other end without complaining;
How privileged we felt when we received a phone call from our leader;
How we could go without dinner when rushing for churchwide seminars;
How we could substain during overnight prayer meetings week after week;
And how we cancelled all our engagements to attend a short discipleship session with Pastor;
BUT NOW, what happened to the new generation of believers?
They don't treasure the Word of God;
They don't appreciate the man of God;
They don't hunger after the Presence of God;
They don't desire to serve the Lord;
They don't put first the Kingdom of God;
They don't.
They don't at all.

I'm going away to...... Genting Highlands with my colleagues!
The last time I went was with Lamb Lamb.
I know it is only Genting but I am really excited as the weather here in Singapore is killing me and I can't afford to travel to New York with all of them.
So, the best solution is to go up the hill.
Anyhow, I will be taking 14 April 2008 off too.
If you drive and don't mind heading to KL, I don't mind meeting you there for a day of food and shopping before returning home. It is only 40 minutes drive from Genting to KL and 4-hour ride from Singapore to KL-PROVIDED, you are driving me back :)

#1 What am I to do? And it wasnt an April Fool's joke. Leave?!

#2 I thought I wasn't looking forward but I was disappointed when he broke the news. Not this month, not even this year.
