Simple Things In Life

I love walking the distance with the one I love;
He has gone the miles for me.
We have so much more ahead;
We are not even half way there yet.
Thou I yearn for better and greater,
I am grateful to what was given.
The simple and the "oh-so-usual",
Brings a wide smile on my face.
If I have to ask for something else,
It is to have 48 hours-
To have more time with you each day :)
